Spoiler: There?s no quick, easy, overnight way to make a living online or offline. If there was, we?d all be doing it already or the margins would have been squished down to nothing.
I?ve seen (and purchased!) a lot of crappy guides and eBooks on ?How to Make a Living Online.? The truth is it takes three things:
- Work
- Grit
- Determination
You don?t even need an original idea! Just figure out how someone else is making a living online (chances are it?s through affiliate sales, product sales, or a service) and copy what they?re doing to get traffic (online advertising, search engine optimization, affiliates, content creation, etc).
Glen Alsop put together a short (1 hour 45 minute) online course on ?The Future of How To Make a Living Online?. It?s a spammy, crappy title, but the course has a lot of positives:
- It?s free
- Glen created it as a response to the low-quality courses claiming to show the secret to making a living online
- Glen has made a living online through affiliate programs, website sales, and product launches (he created OptinSkin, the Email Optin Plugin I use and recommend). He?s experienced as an Internet Marketer.
If you?re interested in how to build businesses or create online products, Glen?s course (Cloud Blueprint), is worth watching. At just under 2-hours, you can watch it in an afternoon. I watched it, loved it, and sent it to all of my friends who are starting or running blogs or online businesses.
