Jazz Hall pays bills, will remain at Union Depot


The Jazz Hall leases the depot building from the Tulsa County Industrial Authority. The authority had given the nonprofit until Oct. 8 to pay $75,000 in past-due bills, including approximately $50,000 owed to AEP-PSO.

At the authority's Oct. 8 meeting, Jazz Hall officials said they would have the bills paid within a couple of days. As of Friday, the nonprofit still owed PSO $13,496.

But County Commissioner John Smaligo said Saturday that he had been notified by the utility provider that the outstanding balance had been paid earlier in the day.
